We super excited to have partnered with seasoned makeup artist and owner of beauty salons, Stephani Cervantes, to share one of her favourite beauty tips with us.

She studied to become a make-up artist in Skara Makeup Solutions in Polanco Mexico City graduating in 2009, and has a wealth of experience under her belt. After 5 years working as a MUA on movie sets in Mexico City, she decided to move back to her home town of Puerto Escondido, Mexico to set up her own business.

Fast forward to now, Stephani owns two, very successful studios and is one of the most sought after MUA for weddings and events in Oaxaca and Mexico City.

She loves seeing how the attitude of a women can change when they feel confident in them selves. And what that look is is entirely unique to that person and their perception of beauty.

“I can have clients that want a super light look, mascara and a shaped brow and a focus on skincare products for their face over make up, to a full face of makeup finished with a Russian red lipstick - And everything in between. But whatever look they are going for, one thing is for certain, the imact looking their best self has on their overall confidence and energy, is A very real and powerful and I love that I get to help them.”

Steph wanted to share her favourite mood boosting look with you all, which is mastering a gorgeous red lip. You can watch below.

Stephs perception of makeup is all about owning your own agency, and we love her healthy take on the power of it:

'I have always been obsessed with the power of products and make-up. Because they are a tool for complete self expression. It can reflect your mood that day, or it can elevate you into the mood you want to step into. I love that make up has so many different uses, it can be dramatic, or it can be super subtle, but the best part of all, is the power of makeup is anything that YOU want it to be. For me, makeup amplifies my beauty and confidence. I feel unstoppable when I’m looking my best, and so do my clients. Seeing them confident and excited about how they look, simply by enhancing their natural features with makeup, is my biggest reward and I feel so grateful for that.'
